Ava Anderson is an 12-year old singer, songwriter, musician living in New York City. As a pre-schooler, Ava loved learning cover songs by her favorite artists and performing in Central Park. She starting writing original songs when she was 8 years old.

 

Her award winning debut album, Unstoppable, was released in May, 2019, earning her the 2019 Young Artist Award by the Songwriter's Association of Washington. The title track, “Unstoppable”, won 1st place in the 2019 USA Songwriting Competition, Children’s category. The closing track, “Broken Up”, won the 1st place Gold Award in the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. She also placed as a semi-finalist in the Teen and Pop categories in the 2019 International Songwriting Competition and the 2019 Song of the Year, Song & Lyric Writing Competition, respectively. She released the first track, "The Future", off her upcoming album, The Future, in April, 2021. 

 

Her favorite performances and appearances include the New York Songwriters Circle at the legendary Bitter End in New York City, The 2019 Mid Atlantic Song Contest Award Show Concert in Washington DC, Sidewalk Cafe in New York City, and Music Matters National/The Funky Kids Hour, a national radio show in Melbourne, Australia.
